Yantra Mat- opinions please!

Hello! I hope you all had a good Tuesday. Mine was busy as usual. I've noticed over the past few weeks that when I'm stressed out and spread to thin my mantra has been "just keep swimming, just keep swimming". Yes that's from Finding Nemo. Hey whatever helps right? :)

So have any of you ever tried the Yantra Mat? It's an acupressure mat that has 8,820 plastic spikes on it. It's based on Chinese medicine and nail beds. Yikes! But it's supposed to help with stress, back & neck pain, fatigue, headaches, and muscle tension.
Here's what the Yantra mat website says about it: "You don’t need to be interested in yoga or acupressure in order to use the Yantra Mat. Just lie down, and the mat will take care of your rest.
In minutes, you’ll feel warmth along the parts of your body touching the mat – that’s an increase in blood flow, a natural response to acupressure. Improved circulation means lower blood pressure and better nutrient delivery.
Additionally, the Yantra Mat’s 8,820 acupressure points provoke the kind of clarity and focus that usually comes with prolonged meditation or intense physical activity. A more relaxed state further improves circulation.
Not surprisingly, people fall asleep on the Yantra Mat all the time."
"Acupressure may even induce the release of endorphins and oxytocin, the body’s own pain-relieving and happiness hormones. And there is some evidence that it increases metabolism as well."

I have suffered from back and neck pain since high school. (thanks cheerleading!) I'm always looking for natural ways to relieve this pain because I hate popping pills. I have been thinking about ordering this for awhile now, but I wanted to see if any of ya'll had tried it or know anyone that has? Let me know! You can check out the website here

Have a good night ya'll!

Hi,

They are fantastic, especially for back pain, but even just for relaxing, most people fall asleep on them believe it or not - I do ;-)

There are a selection and some good articles on them at www.acupressurematstore.com .

All the best..Sam
