So Gabe and I have a tiny bathroom. I'm not exaggerating. You have to shut the door to open the drawers and two people cannot possibly brush their teeth at the same time. I hate it. But I know it's not forever and one day (hopefully in the next year) we'll have a house. So today's post is dedicated to bathrooms. :)

Blogging + Summer School = FAIL
Yikes! I can't believe I went an entire week without blogging. Where to begin...
-I have a few exciting things going on in my life that I hope I can share with you in the next few weeks! :)
-One of those exciting things is not me finding an internship for the fall. Ok I haven't really been looking lately due to the fact that physics is taking over my life.
-Taking 15 hours during the summer is just plain dumb.
-The past few weekends we've been going out with friends, so this weekend I'm hoping to have a slow relaxing weekend. Maybe a one on one date with Gabe. Or at least a night at home with some wine!
-If you live in central Arkansas I highly recommend eating at YaYa's in the Chenal Promenade. We went there last weekend with friends and it was AMAZING! It mainly has an upscale Greek menu. 5 stars in my book!
-It is HOT here. I mean miserably hot. To hot to even go outside. To hot to go to the pool or lake. So hot that I feel like my face is melting off the minute I step outside the door. Attractive right?
-My parents are going on a cruise next week since they had to cancel thier Gulf Shores vacation due to the oil. I wasn't invited due to the 15 hours of summer school consuming my life. Thanks mom.
-I'm not bitter though because Gabe and I have two cruises planned over the next year.
-After almost 23 years of perfect vision, my eyes have started to fail me and I now have contacts. Boo!
-I found a grey hair on Gabe the other day. He told me it was just a really blonde hair. It's not. We'll let him think it is though.
-My hair is almost totally brown now. It has a little blond still so its... Bronde? I like it though.
-One of my best friends and her husband are expecting their first baby!! Yay Meg and Greg! I've already started shopping in my mind for what is no doubt to be a very spoiled and loved child.
So there is a little catch up on my life! Hope everyone is doing well and I will try to catch up on ya'lls blogs today. Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!
It's finally Friday! We have a jam packed weekend planned so no relaxing for me. Tonight we are going to dinner with two other couples and then having a few drinks on the deck at Cajun Wharfs. Tomorrow we are going to watch my little brother play in a baseball tournament. The first game is at nine and it will take us a little over an hour to get there. So as usual I'll be up bright and early. I'm still not even sure what our plans for Father's day are! I've been so busy with school the past two weeks that I feel like I'm going crazy. But I only have three weeks left of this Physics class before I move on to my Microbiology class. Is it sad I'm actually looking forward to Micro? Anything has to be better than Physics right?
Gabe surprised me the other night by suggesting we actually go on a real vacation in October when I'm on fall break. This summer we haven't been able to do an actual vacation since my school schedule is so crazy. (I'm taking 15 hours this summer!) He told me to pick what I wanted to do and we could go ahead and book it. I was torn between a New York trip or a cruise. I finally settled on a cruise because honestly all I want right now is to layout and relax. Oh and eat. :) So now I finally have more than just a quick weekend trip somewhere to look forward to!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's Time For Another Product Review!
Well ya'll know by now that I'm a product junkie. I've tried them all! From department store to drug store. But my favorite products to write about are usually drug store products that surprise me. I also usually try to find a department store version that it's similar to. Anyway, on to the product review!
If you like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, retail value- $59.00:
Try Revlon Photo Ready Makeup:
Ok girls, this is a great drugstore foundation.
Lets start with the pros: It's sheer, but buildable and comes in a great bottle with a pump. It leaves your skin with a dewy finish and covers really well without looking cakey. Super blendable and covers most imperfections. It gave an overall healthy appearance to my skin. I pair this with my Make-Up Forever HD Microfinish Powder for an airbrushed finish. It has SPF 20. And it costs under $15.
What kind of a product reviewer would I be if I didn't give some cons though: The color choices are lacking. This is usually the problem with drugstore foundations. I also wouldn't recommend this for someone with oily skin because it does have light reflecting particles that give you that dewy finish. It could leave someone with oily skin looking even more oily.
Would I buy it again? Yes, but before this runs out I will probably be on to the next foundation! I can't seem to settle down with just one.
So has anyone tried this foundation? Love it or hate it?
Hope everyone had a good hump day! We're over halfway to the weekend now!

Dream House Ideas- Closets
So last week I shared my love of wine cellars with you. This week, it's my love of closets. Not just any closets though... ultra girly, ultra spacious, and loaded with storage closets. These are works of art to me.

Random Friday
Happy Friday afternoon ya'll! Hope this week treated you well! So here's some things I learned this week:
1. Taking a physics class at 8 in the morning during the summer is a very bad idea.
2. I am not a morning person. Ok so I already knew this, but it seems to have gotten worse this summer.
3. It's ok to try new things. I have gone to the same nail place for the past 5 years. Lately I haven't been very happy with the salon and I finally got brave enough to try a new place today. And I am so glad I did!
4. I have an un-natural obsession with old episodes of Beverly Hills 90210. They come on SoapNet every morning and afternoon. It's starting to drive Gabe crazy haha.
5.Melatonin supplements really do help you sleep at night. I'll write more on that later though.
That's it for me today. We have a relaxing weekend planned filled with pool time, movies and wine. We also have my brothers birthday party on Sunday. I hope ya'll have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Birthday to my baby brother!
Today my little brother is 11 years old. I can't believe that sweet little baby brother of mine is growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was 11 and my Dad and Step-mom were telling me over dinner that there would be a new baby that summer. I was more concerned if we were still going to get a pool at our new house :)
Happy Birthday Chase! I hope you have a wonderful day and please quit growing up so fast! :)

Dream House Ideas- Wine Cellars
Well hello! I hope ya'll are having a wonderful Tuesday. I must say I had an absolutely wonderful weekend and even a pretty good Monday and Tuesday. School started yesterday bright and early at 8 am and while, yes my class is boring, I'm glad to have some structure in my life again.
Anyway as I've stated before I'm obsessed with home decor and I'm always thinking about my dream house that I will build one day. One thing I would love to have in my dream home is a wine cellar. Gabe and I are wine people. We love trying new wines and always have quite a few bottles on hand for when company comes over. A simple wine rack in the kitchen isn't enough for us. Here's a few wine cellars I'm drawing inspiration from:

The end of my summer break is here already :(
So today was my last official day of summer break. Yes, I still have this weekend, but it's just not the same. Monday morning starts a whole two months of 8:00 classes and labs. I am NOT looking forward to it. But, it's probably a good thing that I will be getting some structure in my life because I have been extremely lazy the past month. But I did get to read a few books and catch up on sleep. I did not get to live at the pool like I thought I would though. Oh well, there's always weekend right? :)
Tonight we have plans to go out for my friend Catherine's birthday. It should be a fun night of catching up with all of our college friends. Tomorrow, Gabe and I are going to Little Rock for lunch and to do a little shopping for him. I like shopping for Gabe almost as much as I like shopping for myself. Then Sunday, weather permitting, I can hopefully get some pool time in before the dreaded Monday morning.
Totally switching topics, I was so upset to hear that the oil is starting to wash up on the beaches in Gulf Shores, AL. For most of my life my family has vacationed there every summer. I feel like those beaches are a second home to me. We've been through hurricanes and tropical storms together and always come out alright. But this oil disaster is something totally different. It may be years before things are back to normal. I can't help but get depressed when I think about all of the birds, fish, dolphins, and other sea life that are affected by this. I feel so helpless in this situation. And I am absolutely furious at BP for not doing more.
Anyway, sorry to end on such a depressing note. I hope all of ya'll have a great weekend!

New apartment, SATC2, Memorial Day Weekend, and catching up with ya'll.
Well hello there! I can't believe I went an entire week without blogging, but the move took longer than we thought it would. We are entirely moved in now though and ALMOST unpacked. I have yet to get to the guest room/workout room though. So far I'm loving the new place. I have a few pictures, but please keep in mind I really haven't had time to actually decorate. We are also in the process of getting rid of our college furniture and buying new, grown up furniture :)
The living room. I'm needing something for the wall and some things for the book shelves. We're hoping to get new living room furniture this year.
Gabe has also decided we need a bigger living room TV because this one looks so small in the new apartment.
Our new bedroom furniture! It's actually way to big for the apartment and we couldn't fit the night table in. I don't care if in gigantic though because it's gorgeous and I'm loving my new king size bed!
Our kitchen.

So our memorial day weekend was pretty low key. Friday we were still busy unpacking. Saturday was a little more unpacking, then Gabe had to help one of our friends move. Poor thing, I know he had to have been so tired of moving by the end of this week. Saturday night we went to eat at Bonefish and then went to see:
Sex and the City 2. I have to say, I actually walked out disappointed. And this broke my heart because I love SATC so much. I mean I have literally seen every episode of the series at least 10 times and watch the first movie and least twice a month. I don't really know what it was about this movie that I didn't like. I was annoyed by Carrie and actually all of the other girls too. I also missed the girls actually being in the city. And that karaoke scene was beyond cheesy. I'm still pretty bummed out about not loving it. :(
Anyway, Sunday we spent the day on the lake with friends. I have no pictures because as I've told ya'll before I'm super paranoid about dropping my camera in the lake. But we had a great time and got some sun.
Monday we went to my grandparents house for a cookout and some much needed family time.
I hope all of ya'll had a great long weekend! I've been busy catching up on everyone's blogs this morning. I'm also hoping to be a better blogger for the rest of the summer. I have to turn in my senior portfolio tomorrow and I start summer school next Monday. I'm actually kind of excited about returning to class. A month of doing nothing has been bad for me! Have a great hump day ya'll!
