7/7/11- Pre Wedding (Picture Overload!)

Happy Friday!! I hope all of you had a good week and are looking forward to a fun filled weekend!

Let's start the wedding picture posts off with the pre-wedding festivities. We decided to have cocktail hour before the wedding. It honestly had to do with getting the lighting right for our outdoor wedding. My hubby was at the entire cocktail hour, while I arrived at the end. We never actually saw each other there though! Crazy!

I got ready at one of the beach house's that Gabe's family had rented. My sister and I had a fabulous time getting ready together. My beautiful mother was also there to help me get dressed.

At cocktail hour, our guests were served beer and wine, an assortment of fruits and cheese's, and crab cakes. (yum!) I stopped by to have a glass of wine before the ceremony.

My cake was three tiers. The bottom layer was butter cake and the top two were red velvet. Buttercream icing was used. 

Gabe's cake was of course chocolate with chocolate icing. Both cakes tasted so good!

My something old and something borrowed was this cameo that we pinned on to my bouquet. My  mom used this at her wedding too!

My handsome little brother who was also the Best Man!
