Drug Store Beauty- Deal or Dud?

So I've decided to do a new type of beauty review around here. Once a month I will do a post exclusively on beauty items found at your local drug store. I will let you know if these products are deals or duds. So let's get this edition started! First up:

Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner
Product Description:
Dual-action formulation: For 3X the nourishing power of our regular conditioner.
White Stripe–Contains conditioner that seals cuticles to lock in nutrients and smooth frizz.
Gold Stripe–With Weightless Nutri-Oils, deeply nourishes and replenishes essential nutrients without a greasy feel.
Instant deep nourishing power of a treatment in the time of a conditioner for amazing smoothness, softness and shine. (via Dove.us)

The Verdict:
When searching for a deep conditioner, I always look for two things: 1) It can't strip my hair color. 2) It can't leave my hair with a greasy film. This product aces both of my requirements. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth, yet not weighed down. Using it a few times a week over the last month and a half has left my hair in significantly better condition. I also love the clean, fresh scent! At under $6.00 a bottle, I call this one a DEAL!!

Next we have:
e.l.f. Cosmetics Eyelid Primer
First off, let me just say that this product only cost $1.00. I've always liked playing around with e.l.f. Cosmetics because you can actually find some real gems in the $1 make-up brand. This eyelid primer, however, was not one of those gems. I think it actually made my eye shadow crease more! DUD! Save your dollar or try one of the brands lip gloss's. They are a much better buy! I think I'll stick with the Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion.

Last but not least:
EcoTools Make-up Brushes
Details:
"Brushes feature bamboo handles, recycled aluminum ferrules and incredibly soft, cruelty-free bristles."
(via ecotools.com)

I think that these are some of the best brushes out there. This is all I will use and I swear by them. They are incredibly soft, don't shed, hold up over time, and are very inexpensive for the great quality that you get. Price's vary, but most of the brushes are under $10.00 and the best value is to buy one of set's like the one above. My favorite brushes include: the foundation brush, blush brush, all eye shadow brush's, and the kabuki brush. I highly recommend this product! DEAL!

Hope everyone is having a good Monday! Wedding countdown is at 10 days!!! Yay!
