Thankful
This year, I'm thankful for: (in no particular order)
1. My wonderful, supportive fiance
2. My awesome family
3. Our apartment- whenever I start to complain about the lack of space, I remember that there are so many people in this world and even in our country who would love to have a warm, cozy place to call home.
4. Food in my kitchen.
5. My college education
6. Gabe's job- in this economy I'm so thankful that he was able to find such an awesome job right out of college.
7. My job- it's only part time, but I'm loving the experience that I'm gaining from it. Whether or not I decide to go in to teaching, I love that I am getting some class time and working with children.
8. The weekend trips that Gabe and I take. Memphis, Dallas, Branson, Vegas... it's always so nice to get away for a few days and I'm so thankful that we are blessed with the means to do so.
9. My health
10. My grandparents- I am so lucky to have the best grandparents in the world. My Nonnie, Poppy, and Memo are all truly a blessing in my life and I am so thankful that I have been lucky enough to get to know them. So many don't ever really get to know their grandparents and miss out on that experience.
I hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving. Be safe if you're traveling!

Vegas!
We had so much fun this weekend! Gabe's parents recently bought a condo out there so this was our first time staying there. Gabe met me at the airport Friday evening and we went to the condo so I could freshen up before our 9:00 reservation at The Palms for dinner. Some of our friends were out there too, so they came out with us.
We totally met Carrot Top that night and took a picture with him. The picture didn't turn out, so now we have no proof :(
Saturday the weather was gross. It rained and we had some crazy wind. We started off the day with champagne brunch at the Aria in the City Center.
Saturday night we actually stayed in at the condo and watched the Razorback game and ate pizza. Woo Pig Sooie!! We played Miss. State and the game went into overtime. We pulled off the win, but it was so nerve wracking! Next week is the big one, LSU! I can't wait!
Anyway, back to Vegas, Sunday morning we had brunch reservations at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at the Paris.
I loved the whole Paris casino and resort! I have to recommend the $5 mimosas while you shop!
After that, we went to Cesar's Palace to shop and hit the casino!
Sunday night, Gabe's uncle came in town on business and took us out to eat off the strip. We went to this amazing restaurant and I can't for the life of me remember the name!!! It was so good though and we had a good time visiting with him.
Monday, we were up bright and early to pack and clean up the condo before we left.
We had some flight delays and getting back to Little Rock was absolutely hellish. I was so happy to get home last night! Anyway, we had a great time and are so lucky to be able to use the in-laws condo whenever we want. We're already planning a couple of trips back in the coming months!
Now it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving! Tomorrow night we're at Gabe's parents house for dinner and Thursday we're with my family. I can't wait for all the food!
Hope everyone is having a good week!

I'm obsessed with this kitchen!

Poor Gabe was so tired from his conference, he almost fell asleep at dinner.

A Special Shopping Trip...
So, while in Vegas, I got to pick out my graduation present from my wonderful fiance! I've always wanted a pair of Louboutins and Gabe and I made a deal two years ago that he would buy me a pair when I graduated college. In a little over 3 weeks I'll deliver my end of the deal so Gabe did his part this weekend :)
Anyway, we're home and I'll try to have the rest of my pics up tomorrow. Have a good night! :)

All About Hair (Products)!
I usually don't talk about hair products on here. I don't know why, because I have a ton of them taking over my bathroom cabinet. So, I've decided to dedicate today's post to my favorite hair products! These aren't really product reviews, these are the things I use daily and love and of course recommend.
First up favorite shampoo and conditioners:
Bumble and Bumble Seaweed shampoo and conditioner. I love this duo.
"A mild, moisturizing, daily shampoo with marine extracts that feed roots, add shine and keep scalps happy."- Bumble and Bumble website.
It seriously does it all. Cleans my hair, moisturizes, and adds body and shine. To me, that's hard to find. A lot of shampoos and conditioners that moisturize leave a weird film in my hair and it never feels clean. Not a problem with these products. It also gets my hair really clean without stripping it. I would buy this by the gallon if possible. It has the salon price tag, but so worth it.
I also love Aveda products. In heaviest rotation is the Shampure Shampoo and Conditioner
"Our pure, gentle daily shampoo—with MorikueTM protein—cleanses and fortifies any type of hair. Infusing it with one of Aveda's original aromas: a calming mix of 25 pure flower and plant essences.
This is a good basic shampoo and conditioner. It does its job, cleans and moisturizes. And it leaves my hair soft and manageable. Not to mention the scent is amazing!
Next up, styling products:
Living Proof Full Thickening Cream is amazing!
I just started using this a few weeks ago and I am obsessed. It's not a root lifter, you apply in all over, and it literally fattens up your hair. The results last until you wash your hair. I have thin, fine hair and most "volumizing" product just weigh my hair down even more. This is seriously one of the only things that works for me. So glad I found it. And it smells divine!
I also love Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray.
I have used this for years. And you can't beat the price. Love.
Favorite Deep Conditioner:
Garnier 3 Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment
The best. Hands down. I used to use Aveda dry remedy but this is so much better. Not to mention CHEAP! I slather this on once a week for 3 minutes. It literally transforms my highlighted hair. I usually let my hair air dry after using this because I don't see the point in using a repair treatment and then heat styling. Sometimes if I've been really rough on my hair, I put this on while my hair is dry and let it sit for 20 minutes then rinse, shampoo, and use a little of my regular conditioner.
And the best hairspray, Freeze It
I think this stuff runs about $3.00 a can. It's amazing. It's the best for "poofing" your hair. And it holds all. day. long. This was a staple for cheerleading. I would go through a can every week and a half back in the day. It kept the half up poof perfect for the entire length of a college football game. But don't get the Mega Freeze, just get the original. The Mega Freeze is to sticky in my opinion.
So there you have my favorite hair products. I have more that I will have to do in another post. We still haven't talked hair dryers, flat irons, and brushes yet.
So what are your favorite hair products? I love hearing what others are using!
Gabe left for Vegas this morning for "work". I'm meeting him out there Friday and I can't wait! I'm getting to do some special graduation present shopping while we're there! Have a good Tuesday ya'll!

A Royal Engagement
The news broke this morning that Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged!
I for one can't wait to see what her gown will look like. I'm sure it will be fabulous!
