Weekend Outfits

Hello! First of all, I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and bearable Monday. I have a few outfits from the weekend to post.

The first one is from Friday night. The Hubby and I went to eat Mexican with another couple. I went for a more casual look and since it was cooler out (by cooler I mean like 92 degrees instead of 120) I decided to wear jeans for the first time in months!

What did you think? The jury is still out for me, but I'm sure I will continue to watch. To be honest though, I'm just ready for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Rachel Zoe Project to return. Now that's good TV! (my hubby is probably cringing if he's reading this!)

5 Things I've Learned in My First Month of Marriage

1. Being married has not increased my interest in cooking. I have yet to  get the hang of it. I seriously doubt I ever will.

2. My Husband is still wonderful.

3. I get the random urge to throw on my wedding dress and wear it around the apartment. (I haven't actually done it, so don't think I'm crazy!)

4. Storage for all of the wedding gifts doesn't just magically appear. We are storing stuff in the strangest places. An Asian Wok under the guest room bed? That's normal right? Right?

5. It has really sunk in that We. Are. Married. Yet, I still sign my name with my maiden name. Oops! Honest mistake. I'll get the hang of it one day.

We celebrated our one month anniversary yesterday while also celebrating my Birthday! It was such a big weekend for us. If some of you remember correctly, my birthday was also our one year anniversary of getting engaged! For that post click here.

 I'm kicking off my special weekend by heading to my favorite spa for a massage. Yay! The rest of my weekend will include champagne, dinner at one of my fav restaurants, and laying by the pool!

A red velvet cupcake scented candle!! It smells so yummy!! It makes me want to sit here and blog all day. But my to do list calls. *sigh*

I found this little gem at Target or Tarjay if you will. I think it was $4.00. Such a tiny price to pay for wonderfulness.

Anyway, I thought you should all know about the awesomeness that is this candle. Go buy one. Or a real cupcake. Whatever makes you happy on this Friday.
