Some wonderful news!

I don't know who this guy is but he looks about how I feel!

So I found out today, that I will in fact be graduating from UCA in December!!!!!!!! Yes I know December is a little far away and I have kind of known that's when I would be done, but I'm thrilled to know that it's REALLY going to happen. Most of my friends and family probably never thought that they would see the day haha. My first few years of college were spent socializing and not really taking school very seriously. I also changed my major about 4 times. Then I took a semester off and moved to Colorado (random I know). When I came back, I was ready to get serious about trying to graduate. The past 3 semesters I have busted my butt to make up for those mis-guided years. Well after a meeting with my advisor today, she told me that after some summer school and a full fall semester I would be done!!! But when I say some summer school, I mean 15 hours!! Ugh! No summer break for me. But it will be worth it. So I just registered for the last time!

Now I'm doing the whole -OMG I'm going to be a grown up soon, what the heck am I gonna do with my life- kind of thing. Any advice? Anyway all I have to do is get through the hardest summer of my life and secure an internship for the fall. Wish me luck!

Cheap Thrills

Saturday, I had a girls day with Kelli and Summer. We started off with lunch and then headed over to Target and found some cute items only costing around $20 each.

First up this floral shirt is just what I've been needing for spring. I plan to pair it with dark skinnies, nude heels, and a poofy ponytail. :)

Second, is this adorable dress. It actually has a fuller skirt but it doesn't really show up in this picture. One thing about this dress though is that it's super flattering on everyone! All three of us took it back to the dressing rooms and it looked great on all of our different body types.

Then I went to Khols later that night and found this cute little jumper that's part of the Lauren Conrad collection. On sale for $34. I never really shop at Khols, but I was curious to see what they had. The line that Vera Wang does for them was cute as was the Lauren Conrad one. I will probably stop in there more often from now on. I think this would look cute with my bronze Steve Madden cage sandals and a tan!
Sorry for the icky picture quality. My closet is located in my bathroom and doesn't offer the best lighting.
Anyway I've got to turn my attention to the second half of the Duke-Butler game. It's pretty intense! Have a great night!

Easter Sunday! *Warning- This post has a lot of pictures*

Happy Easter ya'll!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I certainly did. We got up this morning and headed to church for a wonderful service. I'm so thankful that Gabe and I have found such a wonderful church to be apart of. After that we went to my Dad and Step Moms house for breakfast and coffee. They had me an Easter basket and it was definitely an amazing one:

The Easter bunny knows where I like to shop! I've been wanting this cosmetic case for awhile now and was so excited to get it this morning. I also got some yummy candy. Gabe made fun of me for still getting an Easter basket at 22. It pays to have a ten year old brother at home.

Gabe and me in my parents backyard. It was a dreary day and it didn't really rain, but misted all day. Which meant my hair was terrible! Gabe looks so cute in his pink Ralph Lauren shirt though. His shirt was a run out and buy it last night because all his nice spring button ups were at the dry cleaners kind of thing. Stressful!
After my parents house we loaded up and went to my Memo's house to eat lunch with the entire family!

My little cousin Emma got into my lipstick and makeup. Haha she kept asking me if she looked beautiful? So cute!

All of the Easter eggs were decorated with the grandkids names. Ignore the dirty table cloth. This was at the kids table!

Of course we had to have one that said "Go Hogs!" We love our Razorbacks!

Gabe and mine's eggs

My cousin Meagan decorated these eggs with cute faces:

It was such a great day and now we are home and exhausted! I'm trying to figure out what to do with all of this candy because I can't keep it all at home or it would be eaten in about two days. I'm thinking about just taking a few pieces of each to keep for myself and tell Gabe to take the rest to work to let his co workers have. I hope ya'll had a good weekend! I'm about to go enjoy what's left of my weekend.

What I'm Loving Right Now

1. Vita Muffin VitaTops in Deep Chocolate. I looove these bad boys. They are only 100 calories and definitely give me my chocolate fix. Just thaw in the microwave and pop it in the toaster. For a yummy dessert add a small scoop of ice cream on top. Heaven! These also have 6 g Fiber, 3g protein, and they are whole grain.
2. My new Michael Kors shoes I bought in Dallas at Nordstrom. Most. Comfortable. Heels. Ever. I could run in these. They have a 4 in. heel with a 1/2 in hidden platform. They front is a stretchy material that really ups the comfort factor. They have these in all patent leather, but the front straps were digging into my skin so I went for the stretchy one's.

3. The sun! It's been shining for days now and I love it. Days like these make me want to live outside. Yesterday I was really wishing that the pool at our apartment complex was open so I could lay out.

What are ya'll currently loving? Hope everyone has had a great week. One more day left in the school/work week.

New Beauty Loot

So while I was in Dallas I picked up a few new makeup items. I had run out of my face makeup the day we got there so that called for an emergency trip to Sephora. This actually turned into a bigger dilemma because I thought I would visit the beauty counters at Nordstrom first just to do things a little differently. Ugh! Needless to say the girl working at the Nars counter must have been color blind. She kept trying to put foundation on me that was waaaay to light. I had also told her that I don't wear liquid foundation, but she kept trying to sell it to me. So I left to go to Sephora so I could pick up what I wanted. Well while walking there, I stopped in at the Body Shop. Then I stumbled upon their makeup and found exactly what I was looking for. I wear mineral powder foundation because liquid feels to heavy on my skin in the Arkansas humidity. The Nature's Minerals foundation is awesome! It's has a light to medium buildable coverage that isn't cakey at all. It also had a good range of colors to chose from. And it was only $25 for a very nice sized container. I love it! The only problem... we don't have The Body Shop in central Arkansas so I guess I will have to order it on line every time I run out.

When I did finally make it to Sephora, I just had to pick up the HD Microfinishing powder from Make Up Forever. I have been hearing about this amazing translucent powder for awhile now. And let me tell you, it works! It gives your skin a sort of soft finish and basically made my pores invisible. I don't have to use as much foundation when I use this. And honestly during the super hot months I will probably just wear a bit of concealer with this on top. It gets a 10 out of 10 in my book.
And last but not least, I grabbed the DiorShow Extase Mascara. I've used the classic DiorShow on and off for the past few years. I've always like it and was wanting to try this. I like it and it makes my lashes look unbelievably long, but, my eyes have been itching a little since wearing it. It could just be my spring allergies so I'm not going to write it off yet. The classic never bothered my sensitive eyes so I wouldn't think this would either. I'll let ya'll know what the final verdict is soon.

Hopefully I'll get some pictures up soon of the clothes and shoes I got on my shopping trip. I've been a little lazy since we've been home.
I hope everyone is having a great week! We are having some absolutely gorgeous weather here. The highs are supposed to be in the 80s the next few days! That definitely makes me happy :)
